Polymer Melt Gear Pumps Structure, Materials and Application
Polymer melt gear pumps can be divided into standard, high wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant and high corrosion-resistant types according to the application conditions, the structure is composed of pump casing, front and rear cover plates, gears, bearings and shaft seals.
For standard polymer melt gear pumps, with good abrasion resistance, high toughness, cost-effective, suitable for most of the working conditions of low abrasion. The pump casing is made of nitrided steel, gears are made of nitrided steel, bearings are made of tool steel, and covers are made of nitrided steel.

For high wear-resistant polymer melt gear pumps, with high strength and wear-resistant characteristics, suitable for abrasive wear conditions. The pump casing is made of nitrided steel, gears are made of high speed steel, bearings are made of high speed steel, and the cover plate is made of nitrided steel.
For corrosion-resistant melt gear pumps, with wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant features, suitable for low corrosive conditions. The pump casing is made of stainless steel, the gear is made of nitrided steel, the bearing is made of tool steel and the cover is made of stainless steel.
For high corrosion-resistant type melt gear pumps, with high corrosion-resistant characteristics, suitable for highly corrosive working conditions. The pump casing is made of stainless steel, gears are made of stainless tool steel, bearings are made of stainless tool steel, and the cover is made of stainless steel.
