Thermoplastic hot melt pumps can be used in extrusion systems as metering pumps or extrusion pumps, and can be widely used in various extrusion industries, such as sheet, plate, pipe, film, pelletizing, drawing, cable, co-extrusion, blending, precision extrusion, etc. According to the different material characteristics, the melt pumps used in extrusion systems can be divided into melt gear pumps for thermoplastic materials, rubber and elastomer special gear pumps, and economic melt pumps. Thermoplastic melt pumps are required for precision extrusion systems with particularly stable pressure and flow, and are installed between the extruder outlet and the die head as metering pumps. This series of melt pumps adopt special gear structure and optimized flow channel design to ensure pulsation-free pressure and flow rate at the outlet.
The main features of melt gear pumps for thermoplastic materials: very small pressure flow pulsation, can achieve linear output of flow, suitable for precision extrusion system; it can be applied to high temperature (350℃) high pressure ( 40MPa) high viscosity ( 40,000Pas ) working condition; it has precise structure, high precision and long life.
Thermoplastic precision extrusion melt pump can be installed in various ways, the input shaft of the pump can be arranged horizontally or vertically (both up and down); the import and export direction of the pump can also be installed in any direction. The drive system generally includes: motor, reducer, universal coupling, bracket, etc.; the flow control adopts frequency control.
